Cycle World closes in Toronto, ON – July 25, 2007
Cycle World closed its two Toronto stores after 43 years in business. This closure now leaves a void in central Toronto for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha motorcycles. The original store opened shop at Weston Rd. and Eglinton Ave. under the name Honda World in 1964. The current location on Dundas Ave. in Etobicoke was opened in the late 1960s, and the name changed with a second store opening on Sheppard Ave., in 1974. MMM
