North American International Supershow
Grindhouse Chopper Jumps off the Screen and into the Motorcycle SUPERSHOW
…Special Feature of SUPERSHOW 2008’s ‘Living Legends’ Showcase!
The cornerstone of the 2008’s new Living Legends feature is none other than West Coast Choppers’ Grindhouse Chopper. Built by Jesse James for the Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodrigues double feature flick, the Grindhouse bike is now owned by Canadian Collector Konstantine Zakzanis. The bike is featured in Konstantine’s “West Coast Choppers Garage” display, in the Hall 5 Choppers & Custom Bike Showcase, sponsored by J&P Cycles, January 4, 5, 6, 2008.
The Chopper was custom-built by Jesse James & his crew for the movie Planet Terror and was ridden in the movie by Rose McGowan whose character, Cherry Darling just happens to have an assault rifle/grenade launcher prosthesis for a leg. Bruce Willis is also featured in this film, while the second movie, Death Proof, stars Kurt Russell.
The North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW’S Hall 5 Chopper & Custom Bike Showcase is the prestigious new addition to what was already the largest motorcycle Show in North America, featuring over 1000 motorcycles in 7 Halls of the Toronto International Centre. Living Legends, the latest feature to be added, showcases bikes and builders whose names have become familiar to motorcycle enthusiasts. Meet the builders and have pictures taken with them. See famous custom creations, with many competing for the $50,000 showbike jackpot…only at the SUPERSHOW.
Hall 5 also features factory custom manufacturers, accessory and leather vendors, club displays, special guests, the main entertainment stage and a beer garden/restaurant for people to hang out and be a part of the non-stop action.
