The National Motorcycle Show Changes Venue
The 27th Annual National Motorcycle Show will be held in the Better Living Centre at Exhibition Place, Toronto on March 29th and 30th, 2008.
Celebrity guests have been confirmed! Attendees will get the chance to meet Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles and Biker Build-Off fame. Known for his full-body tattoo, spiky Mohawk and British accent, he is respected among the custom bike building world. Russell will be available to sign an autograph or take a photo with his many fans. Some of his creations will also be on display.
Also appearing at the National Motorcycle Show is World Hill Climbing Champion John Williams. John’s career spanned an astounding 35 years. Career accomplishments include Five World Champion titles, seven American Grand National Champion titles, named Canadian National Champion ten times and twenty-five consecutive 1st and 2nd place finishes. His name is entered in the 1978-1979 Guinness Book of World Records as the only Canadian World Champion of any motorsports in history up to his retirement. Hill climbing is not for the faint of heart, as you stare straight up a 60 to 80° incline up a 600’ hill. John will be available to talk about the sport he loved, and will also be on hand to meet his many admirers.
The National Motorcycle Show is the official launch of the spring riding season! There will be over 200 exhibitors selling tons of new and used motorcycles, parts, accessories, clothing, riding gear and much more at unbeatable prices.
The Canadian National Bike Builders Showcase will feature the best in custom and vintage motorcycles competing for over $15,000 in cash and awards, including the Best Bike in Show Award. There is no cost to enter your bike for judging.
The giant used bike lot and motorcycle auction are just what is needed to showcase bikes to our vast audience. Over 120 bikes are on display each year for private sale. Sell directly to the public for only $40.00 per bike. The auction will be held Sunday at 12 noon.
