We are now in downtown Budapest, Hungary. What a beautiful city. All the old buildings are the most massive and intricate I have ever seen. Awesome place to spend a week or two seeing museums and such. Very rich and old history. We’re sitting with a table full of guys watching England playing against Algeria in the world cup. One of the guys is roundabout acquaintance of Paddys. Long story… Rode in a lot of rain today and we had to move inside tonight – serious storm. Large hail here yesterday killed 26 horses in one field. Had to buy bootleg gas in a pop bottle yesterday about 20 k from the Ukraine. What a Joke!
