Can-Am announces 2011 Spyder line-up
Refinements across the board and one Limited Edition model mark changes to the Can-Am line-up for 2011.
New for next year is the Spyder RT Limited roadster. Described by Can-Am as an ultra-luxurious touring model, the RT Limited features a handlebar-mounted Garmin Zumo 660 GPS, four custom fitted semi-rigid travel bags, a protective cover, and a specially embroidered seat. A Pearl White paint finish is being used to distinguish the RT Limited from the rest of the Spyder herd.
The Spyder RT returns with a few refinements. The front shocks have been recalibrated to reduce body roll while a modified windshield and air deflectors are claimed to be more comfortable for riders and passengers in hot weather without making any sacrifices in wind protection.
Can-Am tells us that the Spyder RS-S sport roadster has been made more aggressive by the introduction of two new metallic colour choices and blacked-out six-spoke alloy wheels, fenders and aluminum components. To aid convenience the hood of a Spyder RS roadster can now be opened with one-hand, even while its engine is running.
