Yamaha Motor Canada announced today that the 2012 Super Ténéré, which is scheduled to appear in Canadian showrooms in June 2011, will have an MSRP of $16,499.
“We wanted to ensure we gave Canadian customers a value-added price for a bike that includes some of our latest technology,” said Peter Swanton, Motorsports National Manager for Yamaha Motor Canada. “For $16,499 the bike includes great features like ABS, 3-ModeTraction Control, 2-position engine mode, immobilizer key, spoked, tubeless tires, and an adjustable seat height.”
As part of the pricing announcement were details regarding a deposit program for the Super Ténéré. Customers who place a $500 deposit before April 30, 2011 will receive even more for their money. Yamaha will include an extra two years of warranty (for a total of 3 years warranty), an oil and filter kit, priority delivery and $250 toward the purchase of Super Ténéré accessories (with a minimum order of $1500).
