Special Diet for New MV Agusta F3
Pirelli recently unveiled that the new MV Agusta F3 will be fed a steady diet of Italian buns, or more accurately, Pirelli has become the OEM tire manufacturer for the latest for the latest Italian exotic.
Said to become a legend in the 600 cc displacement category, every three jugged F3 built will roll out of the Agusta factory on a set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa hypersport tires. The 128 hp machine uses a 120/70ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear.
Described by Pirelli as the most versatile hypersport tire available, the Diablo Rosso Corsa is already the OEM tire for the Ducati Streetfighter. Rated for both street and track use, the tires specifically designed and developed for the latest generation sport bikes with advanced electronic packages. Optimized for multiple riding conditions, the three zone compound tire features Pirelli’s Ideal Contour Shaping (ICS) technology to provide excellent support during extreme leans and aggressive riding. The tire also subscribes to Pirelli’s “high grip with high stiffness” concept and uses special resins and plasticizers to provide extended tread life and safety on wet surfaces.
