Saxon Sale
Saxon Motorcycles is for sale – again.
An announcement posted online by the company this week simply stated “Saxon Motorcycles is officially being offered for sale. The sale of the company shall include all intellectual property, inventory, parts, tools and equipment.”
The boutique motorcycle manufacturer was established in 2004 with a mandate to build affordable, custom-styled V-twin models. However, in the face of service complaints, warranty issues, and a slumping custom market, the company was sold by its original owners five years later to Mark Borodkin and Tim Gueltzow.
The current owners of the American company, despite claims that Saxon Motorcycles enjoys international sales, have presumably not fared any better in their attempt to improve the fortunes of the custom bike manufacturer.
