Ducati Multistrada Recall
Ducati Announces Recall
Ducati has recalled 813 2010-2014 Multistrada 1200’s due to a possible fault that would result in the throttle not returning to the off position.
According to Transport Canada Recall Number 2015119: “On certain motorcycles, the inner sleeve of the throttle opening cable could disengage, which could obstruct the throttle in the closing phase. This could result in the rider being unable to close the throttle properly, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the upper throttle cover with a newly designed equivalent.”
