Yamaha Recall
Yamaha Announces Recall…
Yamaha has announced a recall effecting 614 motorcycles. Models are all 2015’s and include the FJ-09, FZ6R, XTZ12 and YZF R6.
According to Transport Canada Recall # 2015134
On certain motorcycles, the shift cam segment stopper on the transmission may not have been manufactured properly. This could cause the stopper to crack and break overtime which could result in a missed shift or engagement of a different gear than intended. This could increase the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property.
Correction: Dealers will replace the shift shaft assembly with an updated version.
