Asselstine Country Dealership Hit Hard
A series of severe storms ripped through Southern Ontario over the August long weekend leaving in their wake waterlogged cottagers and campers and a long list of damages. One of the worst hit was motorcycle dealer, Asselstine Country.
Owner, Floyd Asselstine has release a statement in regards to the damage and some images from the property where the dealership is located.
On Sunday Aug. 2nd, Asselstine Country was hit by the storm that was raging across southern Ontario. The ‘barn’, which is used for storage, was hit the hardest. We were without power until late Tuesday. The remainder of the building is going to be torn down. At this time we are not sure if that includes the work shop. We would like everyone to know that we are open for business as usual. We have been assured that the tear down and the subsequent rebuild will be as non intrusive as possible. We would like to thank our customers, friends and neighbours for their patience, concerns and offers of help. At this time we will leave it to the insurance company and the experts that they have hired.
We were glad to hear Floyd, his family and his staff are ok; Too bad the old barn isn’t.
