Ducati Multistrada Enduro
As has become the norm, Ducati took over the stage on the first day of EICMA 2015 to put on a show and introduce their new models.
To go along with that video (posted previously on the Motorcycle Mojo website) Ducati has released a series of promotional videos to showcase the new product. Ducati has decided to take on the mighty BMW R1200GS with its brand new Multistrada 1200 Enduro and they’re bringing the kitchen sink too!
The list of specs for the new Multisrada 1200 Enduro includes everything we’ve come to expect from these SUV-sized ‘Adventure Bikes’ and more; Take for example the 160 hp produced by the engine, which is then metered out at whatever intensity you so desire, by a sophisticated electronics suite that is linked to, and controls, just about every aspect of the bikes performance.
Proper off-road-sized tires (19-inch front, 17-inch rear) with knobbies feature prominently in the promotional videos, as do off-road power-wheelies, power-slides, jumps and several other moves that belie the 512-pound mass of the new bike. The factory says there are 200 mm of travel available from the suspension and these test riders appear to use every last millimeter and more!
