HOGTUNES AWARDED 2016 AUDIO PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
Cameron Mitchell from Hogtunes was present at the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati on February 6, 2016 to accept the award for their innovative LC Lower-RM design – The only lower speaker kit currently available for 2014-2016 liquid cooled, Harley-Davidson touring bikes.
Hogtunes has been designing, engineering and manufacturing aftermarket audio components from the ground up for use in the motorcycle environment since 2003. This is the third industry award for Hogtunes for an innovative design. The first was in 2010 for the HF-1 tweeter pod and the second in 2014 for their 692.2 Lid and 6″x 9” speaker kit.
Hogtunes owner, Mike “PEZ” Pesdirz proudly says, “We knew most competitors would go the easy route and base a lower speaker adaptor around the one offered for the air cooled bikes. We went the exact opposite way and wanted to be the only ones with a solution for liquid cooled bikes and it worked!”
The LC-Lower-RM kit includes Hogtunes popular 6.5” speakers 362R-RM and everything needed for a plug in play install. It can be installed matte black (as shown) or painted to match. Many dealers have reported the LC LOWER gives more access to the coolant reservoir than the factory glove box cover.
