Samsung Smart Windshield for Motorcycles
Samsung has proposed a new windshield concept for motorcycles.
The Smart Windshield would allow riders to access digital information while riding. The data would be displayed on the windscreen, providing a virtual cockpit display similar to what a fighter pilot might see on their HUD (Heads Up Display).
The system pairs with your smartphone via wifi, allowing hands free access to your phone and any incoming calls or messages. It also allow the rider to view GPS directions and could presumably even let you access media files and other apps.
In some cases, this could be an alternative to the helmet integrated systems currently in development by several manufacturers. Of course it will only work with motorcycles that have windshields.
This is a concept only and is not currently for sale to the public.
