Cruise the Coast Contest Rules
Survey PERIOD
The Survey ends on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
The winning entry will be drawn within 10 days of the Survey closing date.
The winner of the Survey will be contacted within 15 days of the survey closing date.
ELIGIBILITY
The Survey is open to all residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, except employees (and those with whom such employees are domiciled) of Cruise the Coast, SWOTC, and Ontario Tourism the “Sponsors”), Motorcycle Mojo, their affiliated companies or agents, advertising and promotion agencies.
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To participate in this Survey you must:
have reached the age of majority in your province at the time of contest closing.
Be a Canadian Resident (excluding Quebec).
Go to www.motorcyclemojo.com/reader-survey to fill out and submit your entry form.
BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR ENTRY (INCLUDING YOUR NAME AND PICTURE) IF YOU WIN, MAY BE POSTED ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS INCLUDING FACEBOOK AND/OR SPONSORS PROPRIETARY WEBSITE, WHERE IT MAY BE VIEWED, SHARED (BY USERS OF INTERNET-BASED SITES) AND COMMENTED ON BY THE SPONSOR AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND WILL BE USED IN PRINTED MATERIAL BY MOTORCYCLE MOJO AND CRUISE THE COAST AND THEIR AFFILATES.
Entrant also agrees that his/her information may be used by Motorcycle Mojo and Cruise the Coast for purposes of contacting for promotions, general information or special offers from time to time. You may opt out after initial contact if you wish.
Survey WINNER
Winner will be determined by random, electronic draw of the entries from those submitted on the Motorcycle Mojo contest url.
Before being declared the WINNER, the Winner must first correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone.
Selected entrant will be contacted by phone, and will be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, which:
- confirms compliance with the Survey Rules;
- releases the Sponsors, its affiliated companies and advertising and promotion agencies, each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the survey, the entrant’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use or misuse of the prize or any portion thereof; and
- grants to the Sponsors (Motorcycle Mojo and Cruise the Coast and their affiliates) the right to use the selected entrant’s name, address and likeness in any form of advertising relating to the Survey without further notice or compensation.
If a selected Finalist: (i) cannot be contacted within three (3) attempts or (ii) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; or (iii) fails to return the declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within the specified time; or if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable, then he/she will be disqualified and forfeit his/her opportunity to be the Winner.
The Sponsors, at their sole and absolute discretion, may select a new Winner randomly from the other submissions.
PRIZES
A weekend in Ontario Southwest including accommodation and meals to be determined. Winner is responsible for all transportation to and around the area. Approximate value of prize: $500.
Prize has no cash value and must be accepted as awarded.
THE FINE PRINT
Sponsors reserves the right to cancel, suspend, withdraw or amend this Survey in any way, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsors that interferes with the proper conduct of this
Survey.
Winner must be able to accept awarded prize within 12 months of winning or another entry will be pulled.
Chances of winning are dependent upon number of entries received by close of contest entry period.
Winner is responsible for transportation to and around all areas.
The Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsors – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification):
- for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility and legitimacy of winning this contest or for any other reason the Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this survey in accordance with these Rules. Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of the Sponsor in a timely manner may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsors.
Without limitation, the Sponsors, its advertising and promotion agencies will not be liable for any failure of the website during the Survey; for any technical malfunction or other problems relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; for the failure of any Entry to be received by the Sponsors, its advertising and promotion agencies or the Survey judges for any reason including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or any combination of the above. Further, the Sponsors, its advertising and promotion agencies and the Sponsor judges will not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in the survey.
By entering this Survey, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsors, (Motorcycle Mojo and Cruise the Coast and its affiliates) its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her Entry for the purpose of administering the Survey and promotions afterwards. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by facebook or any other social media outlets.
THIS SURVEY IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW AND THE LAWS OF THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO. PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF, AND AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY, THESE CONTEST RULES.
