{"id":22364,"date":"2012-09-11T07:16:22","date_gmt":"2012-09-11T11:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/motorcyclemojo.com\/?p=22364"},"modified":"2012-09-11T07:16:22","modified_gmt":"2012-09-11T11:16:22","slug":"lehman-trikes-back-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/motorcyclemojo.com\/2012\/09\/lehman-trikes-back-business\/","title":{"rendered":"Lehman Trikes back in business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lehman Trikes has announced it is back to full operation after ceasing production last March.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Lehman Trikes, a company founded by John Lehman in Westlock, Alberta, has been producing trike conversion kits since 1985, and for a while worked with Harley-Davidson to produce the Tri-Glide.<\/p>\n<p>After moving operations to Spearfish, South Dakota in 2004, the company was forced to close its doors in March of this year due to a general decline in business.<\/p>\n<p>A gradual move to full operation began in June, possible with the acquisition of Lehman Trikes USA by another American trike manufacturer, Champion Trikes, based in Garden Grove, California.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very excited about the reestablishment of this exceptional company and have been working diligently and ambitiously for the past several months reinstating staff, vendors, and production.\u201d\u00a0said Craig Arrojo, CEO of Champion Investments inc. in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>The company has expanded its line from the original Gold Wing conversion to include kits for other Honda models, as well as models from Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki Suzuki and Victory.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, company founder John Lehman passed away last January due to heart failure caused by an embolism.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lehman Trikes has announced it is back to full operation after ceasing production last March.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":22367,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"ngg_post_thumbnail":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.0 -
