There\u2019s no doubt been a lot of excitement since BRP announced the production of its electric Can-Am motorcycles earlier this summer. Now it\u2019s becoming a reality with the announcement of the start of construction on the manufacturing plant located in Quer\u00e9taro, Mexico, which will be adjacent to the current BRP campus in the city.<\/h4>\n

Production of the Can-Am Origin and Can-Am Pulse, the company\u2019s first two electric motorcycle<\/p>\n

models, is set to begin in March 2024. It is expected that consumers will start seeing deliveries of the bikes in summer of 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have set out to reclaim our motorcycle heritage with the launch of a lineup of electric 2-wheel<\/p>\n

motorcycles, and we are gearing up to execute on our plan,\u201d said Sandy Scullion, President,<\/p>\n

Powersports Group at BRP. \u201cWe are excited to begin the construction of this new state-of-the-art EV<\/p>\n

manufacturing facility in Quer\u00e9taro, Mexico, on the same campus where we are already producing<\/p>\n

our Sea-Doo personal watercraft and ROTAX engines. We look forward to producing the first electric<\/p>\n

Can-Am motorcycles for a new generation of enthusiasts.\u201d<\/p>\n
