Triumph\u2019s new active preload reduction was created to lower the resting seat height of the Tiger 1200. This is achieved by reducing the rear suspension\u2019s preload while the speed of the machine is reduced. The best part of this new feature is that it will be standard on every new Tiger 1200. Each Tiger in the 1200 lineup has two seat settings, for the GT lineup the seat height sits at 850mm or 870mm, while the rally models sit at 875mm and 895mm. The new Active Preload Reduction will reduce the seat height of each model by an additional 20mm, allowing for more confidence and stability for the rider while stopped.<\/p>\n
