August 2019
Ducati’s first-ever four-cylinder street-legal superbike is one of our feature articles in the August issue of Motorcycle Mojo. Alan Cathcart reports on his experience on the 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 R, the same bike that Ducati factory WSBK riders Chaz Davies and Alvaro Bautista are riding in competition this year – and now it’s in full production.
Also in this issue is Costa Mouzouris’ review of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701. While the styling may not appeal to everyone, Mouzouris raves about the power delivery of the single-cylinder engine and the bike’s handling.
One of our travel features this issue is a trip through New Mexico where writer Jeff Davison goes out of his way to investigate alien sightings and the testing location of the first atomic bomb.
Who says travels should be planned? When Emily Roberts leaves her home in Revelstoke, B.C., and heads south into Idaho without a plan, she experiences a number of unforeseen events. Her memories of her adventures in the state will last a lifetime.
Bun Betts will be turning 100 years young in August, but he sees no reason to hang his helmet up just yet and he continues to ride his Honda Gold Wing wherever the road takes him. Of his age, Betts says, “One hundred is just a number.”
All this and so much more in the August issue of Motorcycle Mojo magazine.
